I’m assuming everyone had the same heart palpitations that I did when I first saw the Red Wings social post.
We will miss Mick in the box. But health comes first. He will be back! Like he said, for our playoff run.

The only thing that bums me out is how many nationally broadcasted games are coming up here over the next bit. But other than that, glad he’s going to be okay.

What an absolute champ. Delaying surgery and prolonging his pain to align with the Wings schedule? Mickey is an absolute treasure. I have no doubt he’ll be back better than ever with a few ginger ales in hand.
Well I hope it goes well and he is back soon. Glad they put out a statement and did not leave it as some mysterious thing people could speculate on.
