Just the worst game I think I've seen from them in a long time, I have no idea what will Halen for the rest of the season, but it would be nice of Chucky comes back and is a spark plug. Despite how bad this feels, we're not close to out of it

Blues win in the shootout… so i guess there’s that. The only way to really drive back from this hole the Cats made is with people coming back. I hope a win streak that’s more than 3 games is possible real soon
That was the worst game I've seen from this team in a decade. The effort is a freakin embarrassment to the game of hockey. Bob should go on strike. They are screwing that poor guy.

Lol, Really, nobody expected carolina to beat the brakes off of the cats, c'mon seriously? But Especially after the Whitehouse visit, they were begging to be taken down a few pegs. Bad timing and did they really need to even go? C'mon man, we all knew carolina wanted to show up and prove they match up, annnnnd the cats are under manned, have been all year. So it was bound to happen. Kinda Expect the caps to do the same, not 9 to 1, but definitely be physically dominant. Cats are under manned and the main guys on the ice are getting worn down. To the point of it won't matter if chucky and barky do come back, because they'd be the only non worn out guys. But if buffalo can run off 9 wins, so can the cats, it will have to be tarasov, because bob is toast. Lol, maybe he's playing for a 3×3 extention 😂. Fingers crossed chucky vs the sharks to start the 10 game win streak.

It's getting really dicey at this point. We're going to need a 7-8 game winning streak to get back into a good spot, possibly more. I'd say we'd need to be on at least a 7-2-1 pace for the rest of the season every 10 games. Keep in mind the rest of the Atlantic will keep winning their share of games so I'm assuming we'll need a really strong finish. That is very tough needless to say. This is where us not getting points against Nashville, Calgary, San Jose, and even the St Louis game is really biting us in the proverbial backside (not saying all those teams are bad, but we should've gotten some points there). Supposing we had gotten some points in those games, we might only be 3-5 points behind 3rd place rather than 8. This is a game where not having Jones hurt. Yes, Ekblad and Forsling looked bad but consider how many minutes Jones takes off of those guys. Without him, you're playing those two a heck of a lot more. Hopefully Tkachuk hasn't had any major setbacks in his recovery, same with everybody else. Yes, it's nice that Schwindt is back, but he's hardly the gamebreaker Marchand, Tkachuk or even Jones is.
On a positive note, I've liked Vilmanis. I see no reason to rush him off the ice when we get healthy (so far anyway). I'm holding my breath though. and congrats to Uvis on the extension. I'm definitely happy with that as well.
We made ourselves the cocky villains again by publicly aligning with public enemy #1 for hockey fans, then we got crushed again. Barkov and Tkachuk gotta stop doing this to us.

I think you had a premonition that something bad was going to happen with Bob. I also thought that was a lot of traveling in just a few days. Not sure why they had to squeeze the White House trip in when they had to go back to D.C to play the Caps.

That Cats just won 2 cups. Asking for a 3rd immediately is not only impossible in today's NHL its impossible in any sport they're warn down. Look what happened to Tampa and Pittsburgh. Florida is headed right where Tampa was back in 2023. But like reverse. Where Tampa won 2 then lost 3. Meanwhile Florida lost one but won 2. This year they just might not make it and if they do they'll get swept by Detroit or Tampa. Its a reversal.
Will we get another rant from the media and others about a goalie, this time Bob, being left in to give up so many goals? In this situation it had to happen as the Panthers are playing a back to back. As for what happened with the game well it is clearly White House partying hangover and when you mix in the excess travel done it made it only worse. Now as a Devils fan I really wish you would have been playing my team and stunk like this instead of handing the division leading Canes two points. Really ticked about that. Now moving forward eh the Panthers yes need to get healthy but the coach also has to make sure that this poor performance doesn't snowball into more. With how the team is built though I don't expect it to. Top notch organization. Thing is though all good things come to an end. Anyway.

Bob was playing great the first half of the game. Maybe he say fudge it and gave up because the team infront of him no showed from the start.

Keep everything in perspective. 9 ECF games and they had one win against us, now they win 1 out of 3 regular season games.
I tried to be upbeat and positive. Then it went from 1-1 to 2-1 to 7-1. I have my limits on watching cats get abused and I had to stop. 🥺
