>“The team that appears to be in the driver’s seat, though nothing is done until it’s done, is Boston,” Friedman said on Hockey Day in Canada’s Saturday Headlines segment on Sportsnet.
“Boston is very serious about its offer, and nobody’s confirming or denying this, but I believe they are the only team that has been given permission to talk to Andersson, and I do believe they’ve done some pretty serious extension talks.”
Along with the Bruins, the Vegas Golden Knights have also shown interest in acquiring Andersson. However, Friedman believes Boston’s offer is the best one on the table.
“Vegas is there, it’s not believed that their offer is as strong as Boston’s, but that’s for now. It can always change,” Friedman said

Oh please no, he’s not worth whatever they’re going to give up got him.
We need a young 22 year old defenseman, not a 29 year old.
He’ll be past his prime by the time we’re a cup contender…

Boston? That seems like a weird fit for them lol

Last night’s BOS/CHI game must have been interesting for any Flames fans tuning in to check out Lohrei; he coughed up the puck badly within the first few minutes but went on to score a couple of nice goals.

Better them than the red wings. That reported asking price of a first and Danielson is outrageous lol

Bruins will likely have an extra first this year so I’m sure they are going to feel obligated to trade one for someone. This looks like a good fit for me assuming they don’t have to add much more.

More flames castoffs.

Lol good. Nothing they need more than another poorly aging contract. Do they think they are contenders?
