What a waste of a 1st
The Canucks need to jettison any player that's not committed to turning this team around and fix this team right. Obviously we need to win our trades. Build through the draft. Get the financial aspect FINALLY figured out. There's been decades of albatross contracts where we've consistently been giving away the future. I want the drama gone, bad contracts gone, start adding to the prospect cupboard. Follow a blueprint and don't jump the gun every time the blueprint shows positive results.
One of the worst contracts on the team (after Pettersson of course), and what an absolute fail on the trade initially. Oof.
Two hasty decisions by both sides have not worked out. Do him a favor, trade him, and, hopefully teams didn't forget how he was in Pittsburgh.
I never understood the allure.
