Can he protect himself from injuries is the real question.

Texier has been great but I hope Dach gets a sniff on the first line. He has the size and the skill to replicate what Slaf brings to the ice. It’s just a matter of him putting it together and showing he can be that player.

It’s gotta be really hard to have a career like dach he absolutely has the talent to be a top 6 forward in the NHL but he’s consistently injured and every time he comes back he gotta shake off the cobwebs I remember how good he was when he first got in Montreal I really hope he can stay healthy and turn his career around but his ceiling lowered so much by missing all that time

Him getting touches is not gonna happen on a line with Suzuki and Caufield

  6. Caufield – Suzuki – Dach

    Slaf – Kapanen – Demidov

    Anderson – Danault- Texier

    Blais – Evans – Gallagher

He’s going to be rusty at first. I would start him on the third lane. No need to rush anyway. Let him play 12-15 minutes and, when it is a good timing, try him with Cole and Suzuki.

In the past, they used to play together and it was going well.
Then he was moved to the 2nd line to balance everything but we all know what happened after that.

He was good in the early season, I wish him the best!

I just hope he can stay healthy. I’m not terribly optimistic. The guy has never played an 82 game season in his career and the most he’s played for the Habs was 58. Also, he’s had the opportunity to use his size and be a physical player, but he’s never actually done it.

Isn’t this his contract year ??

Im guessing hes gonna resign on the cheapy cheap side. 🤷🏻‍♂️
