L’ovation de Toews était déjà assez émouvante en soi – mais ce qui la rendait surréaliste, c’était de réaliser qui d’autre se trouvait dans le bâtiment ce soir-là. Bédard, Caleb Williams, PCA, des vedettes qui représentent la situation actuelle de la ville.
Ce n’était ni planifié ni symbolique – c’est juste arrivé. Et c’était comme un de ces moments où l’on réalise qu’une transition se produit en temps réel.

Had to hold back some big tears as I stood to show my appreciation.
He really should have gotten a farewell tour… was great to see him on the ice at UC again, though.

If I was in person, I wouldn’t have been able to hold back the flood. From home, only a few tears slipped on by. I loved seeing the UC standing for 3 and a half minutes for ol Captain Serious 🙌🏻
