Can we just have a rule change where refs can actually review a potential phantom call? If the IIHF can do it why can’t a multi billion dollar pro league can’t do it? This is beyond embarrassing at this point. I’m sick of always complaining about the refs being terrible but the nhl just doesn’t address the issue and the fix for it is simple.

I'm pretty sure from 2024 it's been AI that's been putting these highlights together. I remember they use to start by showing who was in net for each team and their stat line. Then it would start with the opening faceoff. Then it would show each and every penalty. It would also show big hits and give you at least, a little sense of the match's atmosphere
