Sabres are for real . I can’t blame Monty . 1st goal odd man Rush 50/50 2nd goal hits the post twice and no Hab is there to clear it . 3rd goal a freight train coming at you . Empty net Hudson would’ve scored if he didn’t break his stick . The result bad luck for Habs good luck for Sabres . Yes they are for real this time and awesome goaltending .

Buffalo game play is very offensive.
They van score but mistakes happen , loosing the puck in dangerous positions. That gives opportunities for opponent to cut the pass and counter attack.
Like the second goal where Samuelsson gave a very bad pass to middle on defensive zone. What an idiotic move . Montreal penalized immediately.
Therefore they need always a great performance from goalie. Like Ukko- Pekka' s great game like this on order to win.
Monty had a baby, he has a family. you can see that he's been catching differently since then. he's cautious. which is normal. he'll get in shape. but the pressure on him is crazy. i don't envy him
