Additional info:
– Mukhamadullin and Sherwood day-to-day
– Kurashev back at practice in a non-contact jersey. Sidenote I hadn’t yet seen a player practicing contact by [just slamming their body into the boards alone](https://xcancel.com/CurtisPashelka/status/2014772822401548366) and it’s very funny out-of-context
– All three ^ could return for parts of the upcoming road trip
– Chernyshov sent back down to the Barracuda – explanation is 1) sorting out roster crunch as guys return from injury, 2) getting games in during the Olympic break, 3) working on improving away from the puck
– Leddy will also play for the Cuda tomorrow
– Sherwood confirmed to wear #44
– SAP Center renovation will be ocean-themed, more details to come at an event in late March
Makes sense, hate seeing both Iorio and Muk not playing but I suspect that will be fixed in the future soon based on griers comments.
Boys need a big win tonight and maybe a pissed off eky could do some good.
I think eklund w misa is a great idea. Misa needs a high skilled player to develop. If we hope him to be a second line center he needs to play with that type of talent.
Appreciate you compiling all of this for those of us who aren’t on Twitter. Excited to hopefully see Sherwood in teal before the Olympic break!
Also I have no idea what Becher is talking about with making the tank ocean themed but I am interested to see how this insanity comes to life lol
Eklund has been playing like a career third liner tbh. Tons of heart but I’m starting to doubt he will ever develop high end scoring skills. Watching him on Celebrini’s wing instead of Smith was painful.
Curious to see who is in goal today. Ned has arguably been playing better than Asky of late and deserves the nod.
Eklund’s got a lot of tools but he has to be a little more decisive and see the play a little faster. He’s making progress.
Let me preface that I love Eklund and wouldn’t be looking to trade him. But if he’s part of the price other teams want for a high end D, I’m more and more okay with it.
Reggie with Wennberg, I’m here for it.
Love the concept of an ocean themed Tank. How fun. It’s a shame to send Cherny down, I really loved him and Misa together. Misa looked the best he has so far since he’s come up when he’s had Cherny on his wing. We have SO MUCH depth and talent in the Cuda, it’s honestly kind of ridiculous.
A sharks themed Tank can either be really cool or really tacky.
I’d prefer an elevated remodel with a few ocean motifs here and there. I don’t want to go to SeaWorld every time i want to see a hockey game
I appreciate these roundups! I was kinda hoping to see Misa on a line with Will and Mack again because they were one of the few exciting bits of the Tampa game, but I get that they probably want Misa to get more experience at the NHL level as a center. Hope Cherny gets called back up after all our trades and roster things are sorted. And I want to see Iorio back in, dammit
More like Misa promoted to second line..
Very excited to see more of the double D pairing on defense. Sam has really hit a new level as of late and I’m hoping that will continue.
But oh boy oh boy does losing cherny for the time being really hurt. I think regenda will hopefully be a boon to the offense Wennberg has been creating this season. But that goes to my real complaint and the true consequence of cherny’s absence. Misa and chernyshov were really showing us why they worked so well together and I can’t help but worry Eklund will be anything but helpful to Misa’s development. I guess atleast Eklund is still good defensively but I can’t imagine much offense coming out from that third line.
I know this is an invitation for downvotes but so far this season Eklund has looked more and more like a third line grinder as opposed to a top six winger. Pretty disappointing and I’m hoping somehow an injury explains all this but I doubt it.
The last slide has me confused as hell 😂
Graf Celebrini Smith is the way. I love that line
That PP1 makes my pp soft 👎
These lines kinda make me sad but they are what they are.
Turn the SAP Center into an aquarium, just go insane with it!
Man we’re really gonna keep Klingberg on PP1 until he’s traded aren’t we?
I mean, at a certain point that 3rd line may be higher scoring than the 2nd line. And then who knows what we call them. Lol
I think this is the plan. This happened with the Celebrini/Smith line last year. They were never handed the first line as much as they slowly became it.
It’s up to Misa to show his line deserves more offensive time than the Wennberg line.
Can we please remove Klingberg from PP1?
Purely a business move, causaulty of numbers. Igor is a very big part of the future! Go Sharks!
This team once the fat is trimmed and dead weight is cut ……..I see a couple of cups in the very near future ! Just need that top 2 D man
