   I really do think this is the most « complete » Canes squad I’ve seen, possibly since 2006 but possibly ever.

   I feel like we’ve addressed every shortcoming we had in past post seasons – lack of power play, lack of grit/toughness, reliance on guys who don’t show up, poor goaltending. Through additions, growth and injuries, this team just keeps getting better.

   I know people were moaning about what happens when Slavin is out and how apparent that is. And they’re right. But by the time he got back I really felt like the team had adjusted for his absence. Nikki adds that grit we’ve been missing for a while and the only obvious hole I still see is a solid, clear 2c
