The Leafs are a disfunctional team starting at the top. They never seem to hire thoughtful people and then it trickles on down to the coach and then their players. The team doesn't appear to have a handle on judging character as far as players go – look at the spoiled brat masquerading as captain.I'll bet Marner is relieved to be out of there even though he's a Toronto lad.They don't have the character to win games during the playoffs when there's not as much room to freelance.

Pierre, as a Caps Season Ticket Holder at the time & you were a Pittsburgh/NBC sycophant, stop lauding that that game should have been postponed. I lived on top of the Red line that goes straight to the arena without going outside. Subway & buses closer. All you & Gary did was promote people getting in their cars, because the NHL supercedes weather emergencies. I heard they did the same on Sunday for the Leafs in Toronto while snow piled in.
Boston plays alot of matinee games on Saturdays ..
Now is the best time to get new management in place then tear down this so called NHL team and build it up from scratch. There is no point in keeping this incompetent management team in place.
I didn't want to like this but overall it was a good watch and listen. Why did I not want to like it? Well it was because of Pierre going easy on Stolarz. Stolarz needed time in the AHL coming back off the injury and refused to go. This sort of thing should not be acceptable anywhere in society including the NHL. When your bosses tell you what to do you do it. Well as long as it is a reasonable ask and this was. Now eh maybe Stolarz didn't want to go because maybe he knows his run as a supposed legit goalie is over. Maybe the injury or injuries are worse than thought and they have taken their toll on him. With that said if he accepted a stint in the AHL maybe he never would have returned to the NHL. Only time will tell us whether or not he is done.
In regards to Craig Berube and the injury I don't buy it was a gymn related incident. I wouldn't be shocked if it was gambling related. Maybe he didn't pay a debt and someone dealt with it in a harsh manner. The NHL investigated him in the past for this.
If willy was in control of the 10 sec delay button I'd blame him but that was someone else's decision
