   Play the season out , fire treliving, trade The bird man Nylander to Seattle for Wright and high pick. Afterwards send Mathews to Utah for Durzi and a pick. The Leafs would be reshaped with Knies, Durzi , Wright and Robertson. Further more send Reilly to Chi for Vlasic both players could use a change of scenery.

   What about Vancouver as a possibility for Wallstedt? Pettersen has a NMC and would have to waive it AND his contract plus Kaprisov is A LOT. But maybe a package where the main pieces are Wallstedt and EP40?

   Van is rebuilding and we’ve seen rebuilding teams like San Jose and Chicago pick up young goalies recently.

    The way I see the leafs are too proud to admit they need a retool and they will keep Matthews Tavares and Nylander way past their peak trade values. Then they will regret it and Knies will be pushing 30 before they come back into having a remote chance of contention so then the question will be whether or not to trade him too.

    Why are players not allowed to express themselves, even non verbally?
    The media is allowed to pop off on anything they want even though their knowledge of what they are talking about is non existent.
