Unfortunately, it’s not unusual for a recovering player to lead the stretch circle. It’s not necessarily an indication that his return is imminent, it’s just a morale boost for the boys.
That also doesn’t mean that his return *isn’t* imminent, but I wouldn’t read too much into it.
