He’s playing well with the Moose and is a good offensively minded defenseman. I’m really surprised he’s not up with the Jets with Pionk out right now; he would give them a lot of what Pionk delivers.
Typical Chevy, never lets the kids get a shot.
He had a shot, and was gonna make it, but got screwed by an injury. Has he gotten chance after that? that’s debatable.
How many young players have gotten more then a couple games the last few seasons. They don’t really give any of the younger players much of a shot.
Hard to get much hype or much of a look for other GMs to be calling about. Combine that with Chevy not know as a GM that really does trades. When he does trade he generally isn’t making anyone any sort of deal.
I can see why a lot of young players don’t want to get drafted to Winnipeg. It has nothing to do with the city the weather the location. None of that. It has to do with ending up finishing your career in the AHL.
