1. Don’t let Krebs walk. I love krebs you NEED guys like that on your roster that don’t cost much but play super hard and can fill holes in the line up. Not every player can be a super star. He doesn’t contribute a ton of points but he’s so undervalued by our fans it’s unfortunate

  2. Norris has to go some how some way. I love the kid but he’s a cap breaker for us and we can do it without him. Tuch can walk too he wants way to much it’s a back breaker

  3. Brother you’re out of your mind. Why do people think you can just win with 6 high paid players. Those guys like Quinn at 3.7 that contribute are crucial to winning a cup. You need low pay roll guys that can play. Tuchs got to go he wants too much

  4. The injury prone Norris at $8 would be my 2nd piece moved, Greenway the obvious 1st. I think losing tuch would be a massive step back

  5. I wish Tuch would just get rid of the stupid Sabres tax off the table. All this time in Buffalo just to leave without seeing it through to getting this team into the playoffs would be so disappointing.

  6. I been saying move Quinn and Greenway on here and WGRs YT channel. I got push back on Greenway because the guy likes Greenway. However Greenway is not a better person to have on the team than Tuch.
Also like others here I did say to move Norris as well. If you can send Norris plus this years 1st if you make the playoffs to a team like the Sharks. Maybe they will take Norris for cap reasons.
1 thing I would also do with Benson is give him a 1 year 2 Million dollar deal. As for Kesselring you cannot let him finish out next season on a 1 year deal. Could we give him 2.5 for 2 years maybe? Or go to 5 years at 4 million?
As for Byram yes I would look at trading Byram if I can get a good RHD like Sam Rinzel.
There is a lot of flexibility here for the Sabres to make trades that free up cap space and still replace good players with good younger players. And Mrtka is also able to push to make the team next year.

  7. Signing Doan is a strong statement to the league. Sabres r committed to a fast, fore and back checking team that is young and plays with energy. This will lead to players taking Sabres off their no trade list. If they trade anyone it should be Levi and a 2nd or 3rd rounder.

  8. I think there's a lot of overreacting to that press conference. It's true that they hit a play off wall of sorts. I don't think the Pats roster is much better, but the coaching is better clearly. Pegula sounded old and out of touch but he is an old billionaire so that tracks. Other than the stuff with Keon, I think people are very much overreacting.

  9. I feel like we need to drop greenway and norris to make room. Norris has been fine when playing but id rather pay tuch to be there all season then to pay norris to not play

  10. To create salary cap room trade Quinn, Greenway and Bryson or let him walk as an UFA in July. Would like to get Tuch resigned asap even if its just to shut up the media( TSN & Sportsnet) regarding trade rumours. 😊

  11. Joe… how about Mea Culpa… we listened to you complain about replacing peterkas production. Hockey is not just about points… defense and neutral zone game matters more than people recognize.

  12. I have total faith in Doan. Reason #1 he has his dad, and his dad's circle, to talk to and gain wisdom. Just like the Tkachuck Brothers and many more, he will bring it every game.

  13. They have zero cap trouble in 27-28, norris/zucker/greenway/Quinn I think are the cap casualties if needed

  14. If the kid line could somehow keep the chemistry going, that would make Tuch more expendable. I know it was only one game.. and that’s a big ask…

  15. I’m glad I’m not the only one who was thinking about Tuch when I saw Doan got a contract. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad Doan signed, but the first thing I thought about was the Cap and if we had enough. And we don’t (right now at least).

I’m hoping Jarmo is getting easy signings done and then waiting until he has to dump contracts to sign Tuch🤞. Basically, make a big run in the playoffs and then make the hard decisions after that.

  16. Has anybody every told you that you remind them of XiaomaNYC? Not just the vibe or physical similarities, but the voice is pretty close too.

  17. Are there GMs around the league who would want players like Greenway, Quinn, Morris, Levi on their team? When Doan reaches the end of his contract wont he want as much as he could get? Salary gap going up! Tuch valuable to success of Sabres is of same mindset as Doan will be. Give Power time to develop as player just like Sammeulson. The core of team upper 20s so the window is 5, 6 yrs. You have to give up prospects (Rosen) & high draft rounds to get impack players. New GM has to have a vision as to accomplish the next level.

  19. that's the super easy answer get GET RID of Greenway and powerless. You'll have lots of money. signed up for one year at whatever it was a guarantee that the following year you'll sign him for what he wants.

  20. GET RID OF POWeRLESS ha ha ha ha ha ha ha you think Jack Quinn gives the puck away more than Owen weigh my stick at people powerless come on

  21. Who was the guy the Sabres traded for Gilmore and Dumont way back? Was it Grosek? Dumont seemed like a throw in the day of the deal, but of course made a far bigger impact for the Sabres

  22. Ok you definitely need to get out more. Saying the signing happened due to the bills press conference. This tells me you also believe there are cameras in your microwave.
Sticking with the sabres, it’s a good signing because he plays hard and always hits the net. He’s scoring and CREATING scoring chances for others

  23. Wake up, Joe!!! The timing of this had nothing to do with the Bills. It had everything to do with the huge game against Montreal tonight. This is getting the boys GOING!!!!! Stop thinking about the Bills for one fucking second

  24. I'm so glad the Sabres are competitive again! They've been the lone bright spot in a pretty dismal January.

  25. Doan's story is a lot like Lehkonen. Both were bottom sixers, with good analytics, on their 1st team. With more opportunity, they blossomed into legit top sixers. Obv it takes a roster with top six space, but player attitude is big too. Guys like this, willing to do anything to win, earn coach trust, get TOI & highlight the human aspect of ths sport. I saw it in Doan during his welcome interview on Sabres YT channel (Kess' too).

  26. In closing argument Tuch is a power forward , adds PK & short handed goals. What is he to think when the GM first roster move was a long term contract to Doan, why not a bridge instead?

  27. When they made the peterka trade i was irate about it. Publicly i would like to admit i was wrong. We got a good deal.
