Philly and it’s not even close
Its gritty. Im a pens fan, so this is hard to admit. That mascot is creative, original, and takes the cake on creepy and funny.
It’s Gritty by a mile. I would put him on the Mount Rushmore of sport mascots all time. That cancerous city needs good mascots to keep them happy

As a Philly fan, it was kind of a roller coaster when Gritty first appeared, but it quickly normalized to us loving him. It’s nice to see that fans around the league recognize how much fun he is. Frankly, it was an extremely bold swing that was either going to succeed or fail spectacularly, which you don’t get much in these days of playing it safe. I’m glad he succeeded.
Between Gritty and the Phanatic, Philly’s got two of the weirdest and best mascots in pro sports.
As a Habs fan I gotta say that Youppi is #2, Gritty rules.
