What a load of bs. 10 years ago blue jackets brass said we need top line talent to compete. Then we get a coach that doesn't know how to put players in situations to succeed. So we trade him for another 4th line player and draft picks. Tankaton !!!
Ill definitely miss him. Still remember watching his draft and being super siked to get him. Its probably for the best though
In a week and a half, Waddell has turned Chinakhov, 2nd and 4th round pick into Marchment, a 2nd and a 3rd plus Heinen. Plus they could always flip Marchment if needed and recoup more. Not bad.
At least we can move on know and I dont hate the trade return and remember st Louis isn't doing well right now it could be in the 36 to 45 range
I truly wish him the best! He has so much potential and clearly wasn't going to be given a chance under Evason so rather than see his career get wasted, now he will hopefully get a chance to flourish. Good luck Chinny! Nice to see us get a decent return as opposed to him just going back to Russia or signing elsewhere and us getting nothing. Love to see him turn into a 30 goal guy.
Pens fan, the algorithm bought me here. I suspect he will play on the third line with Ben Kindle (who is an 18 year old beast) and Rutger McGroarty (21). The Pens have an excess of picks, and for them this is a lottery ticket. A few Russian guys on the team to help him along, as well. The Pens need to get younger and faster. Sometimes, these athletes need a change of scenery, and Muse is a developmental coach. We'll see. BTW, I always tune in win the Pens play in Columbus, the fans and that cannon are freaking awesome!
