While I kinda agree with you… give some time to Fowler lmao. This is such a reckless reaction to an amazing game from Dobes haha. Also… did you see Dobes earlier in the season? Not really what I’d consider « athletic »
This is just misinformation, Dobes struggled a ton when he had a high match load and didn’t do well when playing without rest. Being cold wasn’t the issue, of anything it was the opposite.
But it looks like Dobeš has figured things out a bit, and he is for sure the number one now. Great stretch of games from him, hope he can keep this form up!

Boston had that awesome platoon of Ullmark and Swayman, and I would love to recreate that. Colorado is doing the same with Wedgwood and Blackwood. It could be the key to success and ride the hot hand once you get to playoffs.

Fowler and Dobey will make a great 1-2 punch. Can’t wait for them to push each other. This isn’t a Halak/Price situation the NHL is very different now you can run a platoon its pretty normal and accepted in the modern NHL.
My only concern with Fowler is his size. I think 6’2 is stretching things.
But its great to have to good young goalies. You never know what will happen with one of them goalies can switch on a dime so having 2 good guys is better than none.
Maybe it’s the new coach effect?
