  1. minten has no weaknesses in his game.a huge pick up by sweeney+a 1st&a 4th-are you kidding me.minten need to be upgraded to no. 1 center and put him on the power play, and demote soft Elias Lindholm to 2nd or 3rd line center!

  2. Frasier Minten and Maret Khusnutdinov are players the Bruins acquired last year at the trade deadline who will be impact players for the B's for, hopefully, years to come. Minten embodies the intelligent, hardworking, thinking center that has been the driving force on competitive Bruins teams for decades. Examples of these players are, obviously, Bergeron and Krejci recently but older examples are Milt Schmidt, Bill Cowley and Adam Oates. Minten's hockey sense is almost off the charts and this is illustrated by his ability to thrive in different situations, e.g power play and penalty kill included. Khusnutdinov combines speed, tenacity (Watch him in puck battles on the boards.) and a great presence in the offensive zone. The future looks bright for these 2 new Bruins players.

  3. Minten is a fantastic add for the Bruins, and Toronto's first round pick for a year they are struggling is awesome. How Every I would like to see either a Lysell Chance or if he is truly not going to work out. a trade for something.

  4. Honesty, if you go back and look at all my content, and comments, Carlo was no where NEAR my top fave.
He wasn't a D that I favored. he was a big guy, who didn't sue his size. He ate minutes, but wasn't a part of the strength Bruins needed: Speed and Skill
Brandon Carlo was a decent player but not a pivotal, nor core asset.

  5. I see a 21 year old who skates with skill and maturity. Fraser Minten is a keeper who fits perfect as 2C. I loved this trade Sweeney definitely fleeced Toronto in this trade. Sturm loves the kid and trusts him.

  6. Really enjoy your content, I still like Carlo, really liked how you did not take him down in this trade review, good player, just aging and the Leafs really over played. If you count the Bruins top prospects under 21 years of age right now, you would be very happy with all the moves made at the deadline last year, could be a generational thing and I love Minten, wow just wow so far.

  7. @bruinsdiehards After last season I was dreading a long stretch of losing seasons watching Pastrnak, McAvoy and Swayman get older and older until they were eventually traded.
This season has been a breath of fresh air for those of us that felt like the front office was holding on to the past for too long. Hagens, Zellers, Khustnutdinov, Minten (among others) have me feeling really positive about the future of this team.

  8. We need to give Sweeney the credit he deserves when he makes positive moves like this. We (myself included) are quick to jump on things we don't agree with immediately, like I did with the Marchand deal because I love Marchy.
Great video for a great trade.

  9. Great analysis. Court & Dom were on Minten before he put on that spoked B.

    t's all been said.
I bet there's one player who likes silencing that Toronto crowd more than Marchand.
    🧤
Only Fraser won't get suspended for it

  10. I hate the Loafs (not a typo).
But ya' gotta love the players they give us.
    Remember Tuuka?
And we still got a #1 pick comin'…Go BRUINS.

  11. I would have to disagree only on the point that Carlo was a "shut down" defenseman. For a number of years with the Bruins he was very good. Towards the end of his 10 year he was pretty average and unfortunately for him hurt often- perhaps it was the latter that made him reluctant to use his size the way he could have. The most disconcerting thing for me being a very long time and close follower of the B's was his growing propensity for giveaways at bad times. This indeed was a trade well done.
