I honestly think he was waived by SJ and picked up by the Ranger so the Rangers can sit Schneider and have the option of playing him or Mackey and sending the other down because they have agreed on a trade. It makes no sense for a team like SJ to waive him otherwise… big, young, cheap, right handed d-men, under team control don't grow on trees… there is no reason to waive them. It's just part of the overall trade.

Based on his penalty minutes total & what I've read about him Iorio is a cross between Borgen & Schneider just larger. Definitely not a Jeff Beukeboom.

Everything they did since they canned Gorton has been a bloody disaster. Chris Drury is not as smart as he thinks he is, and he definitely managed to get Dolan's ear and his lies have screwed up this team!
