I have been to 10+ Jan/Feb Habs games in buffalo over the years. Their season ticket holders fall all over themselves to get these seats out there for Habs fans to snatch up. Combined with the leafs games, it pays for a big chunk of their yearly ticket prices. For the last decade, Buffalo fans haven’t really cared because the games haven’t mattered…. But now there’s a full on faction war raging in their fanbase because of last night.
Many of these Habs fans have had these tickets since like September/October… I’m very interested to see if the availability is the same next year. My bet is they’re still there, but they’re $50 more.
That just shows you that your season ticket holders aren’t fans ! Just business people ! When your team is playing lights out and is arguably the best team in hockey right now and you don’t want to go to the game and support. If I was buffalo id not renew there season tickets next year
I was there. It was great. Some friendly ribbing from the locals but a great atmosphere.
Not according to the Sabres fan I got in an argument with. He states there was more Sabres fans and the Sabres fans were louder. He also states they sell out every game now

Habs are one of the few teams that play >41 home games a season.
Definitely sucks for Ottawa and Buffalo fans. I think we’d be pissed if the Bell Centre was full of other teams fans for a home game.
