Les prix élevés de Ted et la panne de streaming

Quand faisons-nous cela nous-mêmes? Assez, c’est assez.

Streaming blackout? What the fuck are you talking about?

At this point I wish the mods would just make a mega thread of Ted and Monumental Plus complainers. Every other post is someone crying about streaming and the price of it. Cancel the streaming apps and get Verizon FIOS cable. You’ll save money and you can watch any game you want.

I almost feel like these post are from bots/agent of Disney or Alphabet as the systematically stop renewing all the small Regional Sports Networks. I suspect it’s so they have more leverage over the sports to make more money and control what we watch.

If Monumental fails we may have no option but to wait for the National broadcasts. We would be in a world of hurt as fans.

I don’t see people lining up to buy the Caps. What exactly do you think our options are?

The streaming services don’t want to broadcast the games or pay for RSNs. What exactly can they do?

Monumental is the little guy here. Alphabet and Disney are HUGE. Why the hell are we not seeing posts lamenting the shitty way they treat us?

As the OP here, can we also discuss the high prices on tickets, food, drinks, parking??? This post isn’t just about streaming, but everyone is commenting on that. Liverpool fans walked out because they were being nickel and dimed, just like we are. It’s the complete picture that I’m looking at and trying to start a conversation about. Not just the streaming.

Music fans are angry about ticket prices, yet sports fans have to deal with the same thing. The fact that people are okay with prices baffles me.

I couldn’t imagine raising a kid these days. We used to get $5 tickets at Nats park, $20 tickets for the commanders. My first caps game was ice level, $50.

Standard inflation isn’t the problem here, it’s corporate greed.

We don’t need Ted to sell the team (although I think he’s a terrible owner) But we can make a difference.

NHL big brain move – interest in this team seems to be waning and they can’t sell out the arena… Better drive up interest by making so no one can watch at home either.
