The Wild shouldn’t have gotten a power play from the Foligno self trip and did. Ref mistakes happen. Ek shouldn’t have and didn’t get called on this one. Suzuki just blindly back-skates into Ek. Ek doesn’t have to move in that situation. I say this as a Wild fan whose second team is the Habs. And I’ve been a Habs fan since 2011 no bandwagon here.

Hughes played a terrible game defensively. Can't win a cup like that.
70 points the habs. Which makes the Habs 3rd in the division as of now. The worst habs will finish is 8th spot. Habs are making the playoffs. They are 7 points up on the non playoff teams as of now. That 1 point makes a huge difference. So instead of 3 losses in a row in regulation, Habs have to lose 4 in a row in regulation with Washington winning 4 in a row maybe 5 cuz habs now have a game in hand on them.
I don't see Montreal losing 4-5 straight in regulation while Washington wins 4-5. The best Washington can do is chase the Islanders who are 2 points up on them for 3rd in their division.
Who says Gallagher's lost a step and can't play anymore?

I don't know when the rule was changed to a 4-3 powerplay in overtime, it should be 5-4. This makes it really easy now for teams to win in overtime. Just get rid of these 3-3 overtimes & shootouts. Bring back ties & make it 5-5 in the overtime.
