No offense but Kypreos does not have a track record of accuracy in his resporting. He has a flair for the dramatic. He tends to exaggerate or twist words a bit. Everyone else has said that Kadri would be open to a trade if it was best for the team. That is a far cry from asking to be moved.

I’m curious what the return might be, because 35, 3 years left on his contract, having one of his worst years in the league, but still a top 6 forward, had his best goal scoring year in 2024-25, and a good add for any playoff-bound team. What does that even out to? I have no idea.

Kypreos is NOT a reliable source. If Friedman reports it then I will believe it.
With that said if Kadri does request a trade after playing the worst I have ever seen him play here that would be a major douchebag move.

Can Murray Edwards sell the team already and do the city a favour….. the flames have been a complete and utter failure since he has taken over. They’re an embarrassment of an organization and it starts at the top. 12 playoff appearances with 6 playoff round wins in 32 years since Edwards took over…. if winning is any measure of success this guy would have been fired from any other place a long time ago.
