I need this better explained. That doesn't go in until after the collision, yes, I know the tripping caused the crash, but still. This, to me, shouldn't really count.

What's wrong? EK didnt' argue and had concern for Giroux right after, 'cause he knew that's he hit him twice with a significant force. Right call to me.
Questionable tripping call. Just, he got his leg, but the fall was called by leg position attempting to fend off the defender. No goal, matching penalties at best.
