J’ai l’impression d’avoir vu plus récemment cette prise de position brûlante concernant l’échange de Jack, Luke et Hischier. Je voulais avoir votre avis à ce sujet.

I’m not surprised this fanbase has turned on Jack, Nico, etc before Sleepy Tom. Not the smartest group of fans

Yes..let’s trade 3 young core pieces for prospects and draft picks….hoping to hit on young core pieces…….its a ridiculous take from impatient/frustrated fans

Lol. Sure. Trade the Devil too. REALLY start from scratch.

Jack & Luke will end up in Minnesota

Oh yay! More… of this… Is it Olympic break time yet?

I think trading Hischier would be idiotic because elite defensive centers who can give you 65+ pts per season are very rare and he’s a good leader. However, I’d love to see them move on from Jack and Luke if we can get a great return from Minnesota or another team.

We could get anyone with those drafts picks we could get for Jack and Luke. We might even be able to get lucky and hit on #1C/elite playmaker and #1D.

The problem isn’t Jack, it’s Luke. Luke is nowhere near the player Jack or Quinn is, but we’ve held him to the same regard since we drafted him at 4th overall.

I do agree that Luke would be treated very differently if he had any other last name. Would not have a $9 million contract, for one. Would have been healthy scratched a few times. Just look at how he’s treated vs. Nemec. And while they both have made big defensive gaffes (normal for young defensemen) at least Nemec has been more of a force offensively. I hate hearing Keefe single out Nemec all the time while never criticizing Luke.

In principle I’m not opposed to trading anyone, provided the return helps the team. The problem is that I don’t trust Fitz to **know** what will help the team.

Nico isn’t the problem. One of the few players who truly cares. Jacks inability to stay healthy (1/3 of his career missed so far) is a huge concern.

Luke has looked incredibly mediocre, and has his ups and downs this season. Him holding out and missing camp was a big detriment on his progression. I hope he bounces back next season but he’s made some glaring pewee type mistakes.

More concerning imo is the nepotism surrounding the Hughes brothers

Yeah. This fanbase is and always has been exhausting. Especially as an out of town fan who saw what it was like during the good years. Just a shame that this fanbase overlaps so much with the Jets/Giants. Feels like the dumbassery from those fanbases has fully penetrated this one

  13. Frustrated fans. It’s like when an NFL ruins the window of a rookie QBs cheap contract. That’s what Fitz did. We had cheap deals for our best two players and he didn’t build around it. That isn’t their fault. It’s the GM’s. I will say, we have to be honest, Jacks injuries don’t help but even with Jack healthy we haven’t been close to a cup.

I don’t wanna trade them, but I also laugh hysterically at Toronto for rolling out the same core year after year and doing nothing. It’s getting close to that point.
