Yep. when so many players are underperforming, there's only one place to look. Nico in an interview referred to Keefe as "the coach" not Sheldon not a nickname. When a player doesn't use the coach's name it's not good.
When you're at the bottom of so many categories for so long the poor play becomes accepted as who you are. Coach change is the only way to change the mindset.
He’s right about the team. He’s right to shit on the team. The issue is his system doesn’t work this team. The team is also built horribly with slow unskilled players and an injury prone top six that also is underperforming.

Fitz buddy Trotz called it quits come on Fitzy fire your entire coaching staff and then step down yourself do the right thing for the org seeing as the owners seemingly don't care about winning! We need more than a GM that comes in 2nd place and awards NTC and NMC clauses out like candy to players that it probably doesn’t warrant to begin with! This mentally tough enough Keefe speaks of is exhausting! The offense has been horrific with his system…next! LGD!!!😏

Let's face facts:
1) This play is true of all the teams in the NHL. Having pros in the Olympics has ran its' course. They are ALL, again I'm saying ALL 32 teams in the NHL, "saving themselves" for the Olympics.
2) Teams & the NHLPA are partially to blame for this mediocre play by ALL players in the NHL!
3) The players who aren't going to the STUPID Olympics, are saving themselves to go on vacations with their wives & kids!
I say, "STUPID Olympics" because that is what it has become! It used to be collegiate & semi-pros playing for NO money! Now it's ALL "How much more money can I get from endorsements?"
NEVERMIND Olympic endorsements! You get WAY MORE money, FAME & career LONGEVITY by becoming a STANLEY CUP CHAMPION!!! Not an Olympian!!!

Like we used to be years ago, our Devils Club hasn't improved at home at all. Now that we might be seriously disqualified from playoff picture. I'm definitely feeling real more fury and frustration. We're still letting Columbus BJs cheat big time. Where's Jack Hughes? Time to have a real long conversation with coach Keefe and General Manager Fitz. Especially Fitz will be fired soon. How has Queefe managed to amass such a loyal following riding Matthews/Marner/Nylander coat-tails to an abysmall playoff record? His system doesnt work, the players see it and have checked out. The handful of fans still at the games need another SORRY LINDY chant because clearly this was a downgrade
