  1. Panarin and the teams who have interest in him have all the leverage, the Rangers have none. This whole trade scenario has been ineptly handled by an amateurish GM who is now in an absolute no-win situation.

  2. With a team that has won 4 cups in 100 years, we should bot be surprised how this all pans out. The Rangers have made it their M.O. to sign retreads or once good players. When will they begin to hire specialists to develope their skilled assets and young players. Its not like we are a Stanley Cup Juggernaut………time for Major changes throughout the organization. Biggest market with the lowest return

  3. They'll look at interested teams Bread would waive clause and get the best offer. I wonder if they can go an alternative route and sign this player with the intention of trading him in the offseason. I know that could easily blow up in ther faces.I know For Washington McMichael a 1st and a prospect? eh? it could be worse. At the end of the day with Panarin holding all the cards and with a chip on his shoulder about how Drury handled the players last season, well I guess I should expect that we get screwed and hope for a pleasant surprise. The Trouba quote brought it all back to perspective.

  4. The average pay for a full-time wage or salary worker in the United States in 2026 is approximately $53,490 per year, which translates to about $1,028 per week for a 40-hour work week.

  5. Stop giving these guys no trade options in the contracts. Drury will F' this Panarin trade up like he does with every trade. He gets fleeced

  6. Here’s the deal…..Ranger management as a whole are some of the dumbest. If they get a few sticks and a bag of pucks they’ll celebrate a total win. Here’s another suggestion, if you can’t get decent compensation then resign him, keep him and let him be a Ranger. You’re gonna get screwed either way. You can trade Laffy, Vinnie and some other assets for the ‘retool’
