Panarin and the teams who have interest in him have all the leverage, the Rangers have none. This whole trade scenario has been ineptly handled by an amateurish GM who is now in an absolute no-win situation.

Here’s the deal…..Ranger management as a whole are some of the dumbest. If they get a few sticks and a bag of pucks they’ll celebrate a total win. Here’s another suggestion, if you can’t get decent compensation then resign him, keep him and let him be a Ranger. You’re gonna get screwed either way. You can trade Laffy, Vinnie and some other assets for the ‘retool’
