Agreed, but just hate when any player talks about their goalie like that, true or not. Not everything has to be said, it's part of a leader to take accountability for some things that aren't their fault.

When are people going to figure out that when you consistently outshoot just about every team every game, that it's not the defense?!?! Outshot Calgary 39-25 last night. So sick and tired of hearing the fans and the team blaming the D when it's clearly been goaltending and underperforming forwards that have been the problem for SEVERAL years now.

Team defence – how many breakaways/ 2 on 1 chances do the Oilers give up? Is there any stats on that? They would have to be leading the league.
It’s also mindset – with 2 of the best players in the league- everyone else thinks they can be on cruise control.
This team are guilty of conceding goals very early in 1st periods or conceding within a few minutes of when they score. Where is the desperation to consolidate their goal/lead & just play shutdown hockey for 2-5 mins.
Finally – Nurse & Bouchard on the same team is a defensive liability. Both cheat defensively to get up on the offensive.
The Oilers can’t win a cup with both these guys on their D.

The Oiler's fan in me wants to believe that this is the best team, and we'll be okay. However, I don't feel this way. I think the Oilers are in trouble. We lost too many good players and haven't gotten anything in return. Only been losing assets, not gaining anything!!
Jarry came out to say something to this effect and was shit on oh another whiner like skinner. Then Drai says it and people now take notice!!! Good on him to defend jarry and validate jarry along with this team needs soneone to figure this out Like Drai says. We’re NOT THE SAME TEAM. no where close as the ones that went to the finals. This team is not good enough. I truly hope coaches and management get their heads together and figure this shit out.
