With how the season has gone, it’s heartening to have such a positive outlook from a goalie. I was definitely sceptical at the beginning of the season, but Cooley has been a perfect backup and reminds me of Conroy’s unflagging enthusiasm.

Dude reminds me of a little kid that just loves the *idea* of it; really? I get to play hockey? what? for an ***NHL team***? and you are going to pay me to do that? say again? I’d do it for free if I could!
Reminiscent of guitar legend Joe Satriani always playing with a smile on his face… what? you want me to play for you? I just like the sound the guitar makes. I thought it was *fun*.
When a guy like this is on a sub par team and comes out with this attitude and energy it’s pretty refreshing to see.
People might argue he is sheltered this season to get these results but he’s played some top teams this year. To have such impressive numbers for a goalie but not be above .500 in the W column shows just how bad Calgary needs some scorers.
And not to shit on Wolf, I am sure that guy will learn from this season, but he is getting lit up this year. Cooley should at least share 50/50 the back half of the season. Let Wolf get his game back together while still knowing we have an Elite, certainly for backup, in net.
