I’m gonna be rooting for Slaf the hardest, obviously I want team Canada to win it but that’s so common that I’m a little more invested in seeing what Slaf can do with the Slovak team

I’d forgotten until I looked it up again but it’s crazy that Gally has only represented Canada internationally three times and medaled each time:
– 2009 U17s (silver)
– 2012 World Juniors (bronze)
– 2016 World Championship (gold)
The one time I get to cheer on Pasta (am Czech) but I’d love to see Canada bring in more hardware.
Nick Suzuki is a prime example where you let a player develop with time rather then expecting young dudes to enter the league like Gauthier. It makes the fanbase cheer for them when they get the flowers they deserve.
