  1. im about done with the blues .. i could give a fk about sweden and steen and sweden and the brothers .. i want the bpa in mckenna .. armclown and his good ole boys club need to go ..im in illinois anyways maybe I should start following the hawks .. stl blues are fked up ..

  2. See the 24.9 mark to go on the clock. Benn had both skates inside the blue line while # 4 carried the puck had not hit the blue line yet. Why no offsides challenge ?
Looks like they may have gotten a point or two & avoided more frustration

  3. Our season is over. Worst thing that could happen now is the Blues play .500 the rest of the season and we end up with like a #7 or #8 pick. Might as well embrace the tank folks. It's better for the team in the long run.

  4. Say what you will… I don’t care what any haters say… There were still some really great moments like when Snuggy broke through 3 Stars and made it a one goal game AND when Torpo took that brilliant pass from Broeburg and tied it. Look, I know this team is a mess, but it’s not all bad. That’s all I mean. Love the show.

  5. Great show as always fellas…….If I am Army, I trade Faulk/Kyrou/Sunny/Joseph for sure. I lean toward keeping Schenn around to help mentor the younger players but if the package is a good haul, then I would pull the trigger. As for as this years draft…..If you can get Ivar he would be my choice. If he is gone I take sleeper Caleb Malhotra…..he is a point machine.

  6. The Blues could finish last and not land the 1st overall pick – people have realize that.

  7. The plan?? You mean the tank plan! That plan is right on target. How a team can carry $4-8 miilion players who are pigeons and pretend to play NHL hockey. The only good thing for fans…is they are off for the Olympics!

  8. If you guys don’t know we were in a retool please stop covering Blues hockey. It’s obvious you don’t know what you’re talking about.

  9. Why are you sold the Blues will get Stenberg?
    Vancouver will draft him!
I would not touch McKenna !

  10. the problem is the GM , you cant retool for over three years and keep trading stars and then bringing back mid level players that the GM had already given up on because they thought they had better players to replace them. thats a front office failure. only vet i would trade is Faulk now dont get me wrong faulk is a quality defenceman but for how long ? two years max can faulk play at his current level. if your going to field a young team you need some players that are prepared to defend them as they mature. blues have no players other teams fear will drop thier gloves they constantly get outmuscled and intimidated. and trading zach bolduc ? what why did we do that? GM is the problem and until hes gone we will be in perpetual rebuild mode they need toughness so the young guys dont get ran at constantly

  11. If the Blues DON'T get the #1 overall pick, do you think they trade up to draft Stenbeg? SHOULD they, given the other talent at the top of the draft?

  12. I dont really buy the idea that free agents wont come to STL. I think that depends on what they're looking for – if they want a vibrant late-night party town, no, but in that case I wouldnt want the Blues to sign them anyways. If they want a family friendly, well-run org that is normally in the race then they'll come here, not to mention that once they do many never leave, players talk, and have a lot of good things to say about STL and the Blues org as a FA destination. Also, Missouri is getting close to eliminating income taxes as well. Also, this is a red state and many players are trying to avoid NY or LA or CHI or these other train-wreck blue cities – just like the general population is if you look at the mass exodus going on from these cities/states. The city of STL is also a train-wreck but the state and surrounding areas are very nice and great for cost of living.

  13. 3. Verhoeff. Imagine a mobile two-way defenseman with high-end offensive potential paired with Broberg for the next six years. Every elite team has an elite puck-moving defenseman. Of course, they also have an elite center. Too bad there aren’t any truly elite centers in this draft. I wouldn’t be too upset with Stenberg. I only question how many average to under size wingers we need in the organization.

  14. The scariest statement in the world should be "Doug Armstrong is going to make a big decision". He needed a pink slip, not a victory lap.

  15. Worst defensive team I think I've ever seen as a Blues fan! They need defense in the worst way. I don't think it's the goalies but Binnington lets in too many he shouldn't despite playing well in the playoffs. He has to play better consistently. Hofer is an up and coming goalie who could be a starter with good D in front of him. If we get rid of assets they don't need pics as much as they need D or this will continue for years to come!

  16. I don't think there is a bad choice if we finish in the Top 5 of the Draft! My order would be depending on how we finish… 1. Stenberg, 2. McKenna, 3. Verhoeff, 4. Lawrence, 5. Reid

  17. Lets assume we keep Thomas but manage to trade Kryou, Faulk, Binner, Schenn, Joseph, and Sunny. That should get at least two other 1st rounds and some other pieces. If I am not mistaken Cale Makar is a ufa sign him and Schmaltz.
    Neighbors, Thomas, Snuggy
    Holloway, Devo, Carbs.
    Otto, Schmaltz, Buch
    Fabbri/"Ivar, Walker, Breggren/ Torps

    Broberg, Makar
    Lindstein, CP55
    Folwer, Mailloux

  18. Im perfectly fine with how things are going right now. We sre playing some extremely entertaining games while getting closer to a better draft pick each night
