Just gonna put this out there..jake guentzel was the last to score twice in his debut (2016) and we took the cup the same year.. yet to mention the skinner save that looked exactly like the cup winner in 09.. god am i excited to watch this team now😂

Avery Hayes is NHL ready, but honestly though there's just not a spot for him when the forwards are healthy. Dubas needs to let Kevin Hayes, Acciari, and Mantha walk this summer to make way for Avery Hayes, Broz, and so that McGroarty can be a full timer next season. Acciari and Mantha have been fine, but have to move on if you actually want a young team.
Think about the job Dubas has done to have a kid like Avery just sitting in WBS waiting on an opportunity.
A few years ago We didn't even have a kid that could do what he did last night and now the depth is to the point where he wasn't even the first call up
So happy for Avery, and proud of this team. No matter what happens from here, I haven't had as much fun cheering for the Pens in a long time.
I disagree with the notion that the penguins don’t need more draft picks this prospect pool is lacking top 6/4 options let alone any actual star power. The more picks maybe we get lucky and find a Robertson/Hutson.
Was so proud of that team last night for the win that they got in Buffalo going on a high and positive note heading into the three week Olympic break.

Crazy to see the youth movement. Some of these kids are definitely ready to compete for an NHL roster spot, and the crazy part is the amount of talent still yet to make NHL debuts. Dubas has more than replenished the talent in the system
