I have no idea how we aren’t last but that says a lot about how insanely bad the Rangers are nowadays. I can’t believe I was tricked into thinking we would sneak in this year up through December, once again, all I know is pain.

I can tell you right now if they are giving the Flyers a 13% chance to make it, it is not a ‘pretty good breakdown’

Going into the season I thought the Flyers had a roster to fight for a playoff spot, but a head coach that would prevent them from reaching it.
As we hit the break I think the team is in a worse position than I expected, but Tocchet has also been worse than I expected. Completely unrelated from the Michkov stuff, his offense doesn’t manufacture shots, his defense struggles to get out of the zone with speed, and the team looks flat an uninspired.
They can’t even win consistently when they are getting great goaltending cause they can’t consistently get pucks on net, so even if Vladar goes on a scorching hot run they will lose some of those games cause they can’t score.
I get the whole « into the playoffs » thing as a statement about the team’s recovering status, but who are we kidding? At absolute *best*, if we made it in with this roster as it stands, we are the bloodiest first-round exit ever. We’d walk away getting swept in four games with a +/- of like -15.
Just want to add that i think that guy sucks
