It was another impressive showing for Laval as they swept the weekend series. Florian Xhekaj got ejected in the 2nd period for his fight, David Reinbacher returned and looked sharp while Jacob Fowler stopped 22 of 23 in the win.

Looks like a good first game back from David! Some crazy saves in there from Fowler. Engstrom continues to look like a guaranteed NHLer.
Also fuck me these AHLtv commentators are so annoying.
Very steady game from Rhino. Defensively he had one meh sequence, the rest of the game he was solid all around – good reads, used his length and stick well, got physical a few times.
Good to see Reinbacher back! Didn’t miss many games fortunately. He is getting closer to NHL readiness. I’d imagine we will see him get a few games with the big club in the spring if we get our playoff spot clinched early.
