  1. Adam, if you hit another player in the head first, and extend your elbow, it’s dirty. Stank was angry because he got hit in the head. You should be angry too.

  2. Aigh, you lost points with me tonight, Adam! Yes, it wasn't the worst hit in hockey history. But it was a dirty hit, it was interference, and sounds more like ypu spent time blaming Stankoven than Wilson. Same attitude that has us getting bullied in games all the time…🙄

  3. The Canes roster is not constructed for & nor has it ever been compatible with the rigors of NHL postseason hockey at any point during RBA's coaching tenure. Trying to save face for trading Necas / Drury for Rantanen & having that blow up & then deploying Stankoven at 2C has been a trainwreck all season long. Further, once big body D-focused Legault is healthy again then either Walker, Ghost, or Miller need to sit because all of them are offensive minded, puck moving D-Men who are butter soft in their own end & have been turning pucks over repeatedly in the D & neutral zones all season long. Lastly, don't blame other teams for teeing off & targeting your 5'7" 163 lbs second line center when Tulsky crapped the bed on the deal that brought him to Raleigh & then deperately deployed him at 2C like NHL road kill. Stupid is what stupid does. This front office traded away Lindholm & Luostarinen, left Geekie un-protected in the expansion draft, & then decided to invest $45m in Kotkaniemi as the franchise's future 2C rather than resigning Trocheck way back in 2021. So the team's current shortcomings on their center depth chart & lack of size & physicality in the team's tops six are all of the Canes front office's own volition. So stop whining & kicking like wimpy, girly men whenever proven NHL intimidators like Tom Wilson & Jacob Trouba predictably annihilate the tiny tots in the Canes top six as this is the NHL & not some collegiate club hockey league!

  4. Last line of defense is the goal tender. Frederick Anderson absolutely sucks. He's at the end of a mediocre career. Losing games for Canes. Blame the D. But the blame goes squarely on Andersons shoulders. He's freaking awful.

  5. I don't see how anyone calls out freddie on this one. He kept them in the game. The team, as seems to be more and more the norm, just doesn't play the same for him. I have no idea how a team has so little pride that it lets other people play dirty and refuses to fight. Nevermind a trade, go to the senior center and get an enforcer from the 80s or 90s. Their decrepit old bodies would have more fight in them and at least try to make someone pay. We all know Wilson is dirty…. after that hit all 5 skaters should have been running at him. Instead, they say, "thank you may i have another?" And that effort… after the first period i have no idea where any effort went… and ot… I've never seen more careless play or lackadaisical effort. Yikes.

  6. There aren't a lot of games where I say the Canes did not deserve to win, but this is one of them. Good first period, but after that, I'm not sure whether they thought they had it in the back and eased off the throttle, or just had no desire to respond to the physical pl[ay the Caps ramped up. Either way, that third period was pathetic, and it was only Mr. Andersen's great goaltending that kept them in the lead as long as they were.

  7. Didn’t like the hit from Wilson because it was to the head but let’s be real he didn’t go anywhere near full force. If we trade for another skill guy this team will not make it to the end, we need someone who will stand up for our players.

  8. That was a dirty Hit ! Period.Last year I was down on Svech
This year I’m down on Aho
Aho lost it in OT by taking that weak beer league shot when Staal won the opening possession.
I’m sure he got a talking to.
The Caps played a great game from period 2 to the end.
    We got out played.
3 nothing is the kiss of death
    Fred played a good game.

  9. Ok, I’m a broken record here but that looked pretty laid off at the end of the 3rd. Literally watched Ehlers give up on it and head to the bench. My girlfriend and I watch it together and call out the giving up on a play. We won’t do it all the time.

  10. Rough take on the "jumping for joy" on the idea of svech or niki making the hit. Hits to the head no matter what player or team is a rough watch. Stanks head snapped back pretty grossly. Just my thoughts.
