Awesome! My wife literally ran into him at the HOF in May. She turned and bumped into him in tbe gift shop. I wanted to get the Lanny socks and have him sign them but he was with his grandson (I think) so we just left him alone. Seemed like a good dude. He was getting the kid a Matthew’s jersey a couple days before game 7

He flipped a puck over the glass to me at Joe Louis in the pre-game skate back the mid 80s. I was all giggly and shit, jumping up and down, happy af. My gf said, « Dude, you’re 25! Calm down! » She didn’t last very long.

Met him at the Calgary Airport after the heritage classic in 2011. I asked him if he would take a picture with me and he was like « of course? Where are you headed? » I said « Orlando. Where are you off to Mr McDonald? » He was like « call me Lanny! Palm Springs to defrost after sitting on the bench for the alumni game at the Heritage Classic. »
