the person i feel worst for is Igor because we wasted his prime years and either if you re-tool or rebuild, this team will still be out of contention until his mid 30's and will that be good enough to ride him to a cup? at this point if the team breaks it all up, you might as well include him also, for is own sake.

Sorry about listening you have to be prepared be motivated play hard have confidence stop taking penalties in beginning and ending of the period. Going through emotions they all are high paying athletes and stop worring about what's going on with Panarin. That's on him if he wants to be a Ranger he would sign but he is just looking for more money. If your heart isn't here stop ruining the team. But these players are not performing. Yes Drury has ruined this team and the players are not going to play for him. The last 3 coaches have gone through the same crap. I would love to sit down with all 3 coaches we have had in one room and listen to them with what they really think. They can not say anything negative about Drury or Dolan while they were coaching they had to listen to what he wanted. I like Sully but the poor man can not say what he really feels. THANK YOU DRURY.
Mike Sullivan is a class act at the head of group of lost athletes.
The systems that worked 10 yrs ago for Sully don't work anymore. He, Gallant and Lavy ALL USED overly defensive, outdated strategy in 5v5 hockey. They have to : a) stop chasing the d man from behind the net. Nobody does that anymore, because you have 1 less man to trap the neutral zone passing lanes. and b) have the f3 and 4th fwd STOP going so deep in their own zone before turning around for a counter. You need more than one guy to create passing lanes for a transition. Nobody does that in 2026 either, afaik. It is archaic.
THIS IS WHY THE TEAM HASN'T BEEN OVER 50% IN 5v5 ExGf% IN THE LAST 5 YRS. Plus, they have lost speed and quickness thanks to age and this dinosaur GM that seems to think that they can transition to a physical team.
Sully's daily, straight-up honesty about this teams (insane, chaotic)'play', is so refreshing.. while I haven't (I just can't) watched them since before the 10-2 Bruins drubbing, Sully's continued honesty at-least keeps me caring. But, we all know the team is so flawed, & the reserve group is also flawed, so the quality of play isn't changing anytime soon… but I blame the OTHER coaches for failing to correct the same zone-exit puck movement issues since the season began! It's so dysfunctional! They continue to struggle getting pucks out of their own end, thru the neutral zone & into the O-zone, where they're taught to immediately whip the puck back to the point instead of looking at the net & geez, creating something different, like, I dunno.. going to the frickin' net sometimes or maybe shooting the damn puck instead of forcing the 'perfect' east-west pass once in a period or game or so (Laffy!)… their spiral is just insane!

What an idiot. He says when things don’t go your way early in the game thats what happens. Yet two days ago the rangers had a 2-0 lead 4 minutes in. And same results

I’m convinced they don’t want to play for Drury…… buffalo fired their GM after years of crappy play….. I think they are 12-2 since. LOL. Maybe that can happen for the rangers!
