It seems all the compliments that Jon Cooper always says when he pays vs the Habs are things he actually feels.

I was happy to see him direct that pass into the net. Great stick.
While he didn’t look entirely comfortable on the wing or with his line mates, I’m confident he’ll continue to settle in and contribute even more moving forward.

My Toronto relatives have been telling us for weeks that Suzuki is clearly 13th forward, and wouldn’t play big minutes. Exact quote from when he scored today “lol McDavid doing all the work Suzuki didn’t even have to move”. I hope to huff that copium all the way to the gold medal.
