Je veux vraiment une revanche pour ce « combat ». Willy était prêt pour un combat qui suivait les règles tacites de la LNH. Crinon est pour la rue.

    It definitely looks like Willy was willing to concede without throwing a punch, and then when he went down on the ice, the other dude did SOMETHING that enraged him.

    Whether it was a hair pull or something similar, who knows, but it was definitely something, you can see the switch get flipped.

    There’s a real big gap between getting your ass kicked and having a dancing, singing sprite fool you with trickery and then strike your throat before you even know you’re in a fight.

    LOL, dude pulled Wilson down and threw 2 weak punches to the back, then gets pulled down by Wilson and cowers like a fool. Wilson could have hit him if he wasnted to.

    Reminds me of a tired boxer excessively holding another boxer in the ring. Thats not fighting. That’s doing something to avoid the fighting

    He clearly lost he got taken to the ground and let the other guy get on top of him. The argument could be made he got taken by surprise by the pull down and didn’t want to fight in the Olympics but based off the video he clearly lost idk why I need to convince myself otherwise because I root for the caps

    It was a fighting penalty, but it was not a fight. It was « we dropped our gloves, but throwing hands will get me suspended. Wtf? » followed by mild shenanigans and a bit of performative tantrum. No one « won », no one lost.

    On the plus side, it gave our guy, elite goal scorer Tom Wilson the only ever Olympic Gordie Howe Hat Trick. Crap, now I want to get a T-shirt printed.
