my biggest concern because Sheldon Keefe has not given me any reason to trust him is that when Luke is healthy which is signaled to be at the end of the Olympic break, Keefe will healthy scratch Nemo and play Kovacevic et al over Nemo even though he has proven himself worthy of ice time over and over and over again.
The way Nemec has handled himself in heavy minutes in all situations while also helping create chances is a big reason that Slovakia has shattered expectations and finished top of their group.
Just think about this. If he can play and perform for Slovakia so well against the worlds best, under pressure, why the hell does Keefe not get the same from him?

It’s nice to see this but I would like to see how much he moves down if you do these /60. He might be the ice time leader too
Curious about defensive impacts as well as that’s really his issue in the NHL, I don’t think anyone doubts his play in o-zone. Ice time suggests he’s been fine defensively, though
