Holy dynamic movement. The big club needs to take lessons from this.

Mueller is gonna be great for us I just know it. We have some very good upside in him,  Lekker, Ohgren, Buium, DPetey, Willander, Mancini, kudryastev, and McKenna/Verhoff/Stenberg. They’ll all be 29 years old when Macklin Celebrini reaches UFA which is great!

Lekkerimäki has a great shot but I’m failing to see anything else out of him. He’s like Brock but smaller.

Watching Lekkermaki in the AHL versus the NHL really just highlights the skill discrepancy. So much time and space for him in the AHL to just casually skate around, load up and shoot.

But when he plays in the NHL, there’s no time and space at all. It’s a good sign it looks like he’s just playing with his food at the AHL level. He needs to play at the NHL for the rest of the season even if he’s not producing so he can learn how to find and create space at the NHL. Spend time with Brock Boeser whose game fully relies on being able to do that as a slow skater.

I should have learned my lesson of not getting a current player jersey from my Quinn Hughes jersey. But since I can’t sell it for pennies, I’m going change the 43 to 23 and get Lekky nameplate!

Point per game in the AHL probably would keep him there until the trade deadline

If he can work in the off-season on his deficiencies like skating and strength, he could mold into a top-six sniper to complement McKenna, and then draft either Nazar Privalov, Sergei Skvortsov, or Joseph in the 27 Class. Maybe even 2, who knows right? Got yourself quite the future 1st line there.

Being there for a lot of the Abby games, I like it when he’s there for the entertainment, but man, he needs time in the NHL to help adapt and get used to the game. It seems like he’s got the most that he can out of the AHL.

I really hope Lekkerimaki can figure out how to position himself and do everything necessary in the big leagues. His wrist shot is such a weapon.
