They run this same play in NJ but there’s always an NHL defenseman’s stick either intercepting the pass to Meier or blocking the pass to the slot. Looks so good when executed to perfection.

To be fair, I’m not sure we can accurately judge their play as they’re beating up on an Italian team with zero NHL players.

I just hope they all have fun and get the mental reset they need to finish out the season. Hopefully with a whole new front office and coaching staff post Olympic break.
