Fil de renouvellement

On dirait que les renouvellements viennent de sortir. Pensées? Mon prix a augmenté de 2 $ par billet et par match.

Mine went up $12 per game, just about an 8% increase. Tickets were already overpriced, seeing as they go for less on resale for 80% of the games. Ted just wants to pay for his renovations, and I won’t be renewing. Happy to buy resale tickets for the games I want to go to next year

  2. Got hit with 8% too. And I know that my seats, which I’ve had for years, will disappear next year. Makes it a hard pill to swallow.

Those of us up in gen pop don’t really get the brunt of the raises. Yes they’ve been going up but it’s not that bad plus I’m a diehard Caps fan who is at 90% of the games anyway.

    I will be autorenewing.

I’m interested in how this will look.
    From the Caps renewal email:

     »
This summer, we will release details on the transformation of our 100 and 400 level concourses, the most expansive and ambitious enhancement of the entire project. This phase of the transformation will reimagine the fan experience for all guests attending an event at the arena, including new and unique food and beverage options, expanded retail concepts, and a completely transformed, more streamlined fan journey for every guest. Coming in the 2027-28 season, this fully comprehensive upgrade will enhance the experience of every fan entering the arena for generations to come.

I went with a 10-game « partial » plan this year as my first dipping-of-my-toe into the pool. It’s been alright, but we joined late so we didn’t have a real pick of the seats to choose from. I don’t think renewals for that start until at least this summer.

Just curious about the economics of resellling season tickets. When you resell, do you earn more or less than the cost? And what percentage of the time are you able to resell?

My tix went up $3. Btw, this looks like the last season of the Loge Attack and Loge Defend seats as those are expected to get merged into « The Halo »

Center ice lower level, 8 percent increase.

One of only three or four areas that didn’t go up. Very much in the fence about renewing, but this is at least a little positive

Those Epstein files defense lawyers aren’t going to pay for themselves.

  11. buyableblah

We’re all paying for the vault renovations I guess. Screw Ted and his Epstein file ass.

I don’t know why they allowed Mr. Leonsis to wait so long on this.

I honestly don’t know what to do. I would rather get a partial plan, but I also want to be there for Ovi’s final game and jersey retirement ceremony. But if Ovi doesn’t announce he’s coming back before the renewal deadline, then I believe there’s a 90% chance he’s retiring this year. Because it will hurt renewal sales by not announcing in time. I also think he’s likely retiring because he’s in talks with Dynamo about playing a final season there, and I can’t see him playing when he’s 43. ugh. I don’t know what to do! I don’t have a second person for the seats so I always sell the second seat at a loss. I would renew 100% if I knew I could sell my tickets close to face value. But I always end up selling for a 40 to 50% loss.

My family is getting spam calls, we cancelled our season tix the year of the cup run (yes, we’re still salty). They must be getting desperate if they’re going back and calling people that far down the list AND raising y’all’s prices.
