This is a tough one: as someone who is enjoying Olympic hockey, I’m disappointed. But as a Penguins fan I’m relieved because I would hate for this to turn into a season ending injury with the Pens as hot as they are.

Reports are that he was able to skate this morning, so the injury doesn’t seem season-ending, which is giving me hope. Also, Sid having nearly a week before the Pens schedule resumes isn’t the worst thing. My guess is that he’ll out for another week once the NHL schedule resumes. I’m sure this is absolutely gutting for him, but I have hope we see Coach Crosby behind the bench today.
