@Avalanche du Colorado

Hopefully the look that will launch 1000 ships to a Stanley Cup.

  2. MixedJelly

All I see is more fire to push for lord Stanley

  3. Khada_the_Collector

That’s the look of a man ready to make 31 other teams feel his wrath bruh. I’m telling you, whole ass NHL on notice from the Avs for at least a good fortnight.

  4. suspiciousgranolabar

Nate and Cale will have another shot in 2030, hopefully. This was probably Brock’s last chance, so I’m glad he got his gold! Gutted for our other boys of course, but hopefully the rage propels them to the cup.

  5. DartVasPaws

You know that Nate is gonna go nuclear on every other team in the league.

As a Canadian Avs fan, this was a rough go.

  7. dragonbenj

Bro missed an absolutely sitter .. hopefully it haunts him all the way to Stanley cup…

‘I get on the ice every day to win a cup not a medal’

  9. MagicMemeLord

The face of a man who’s gonna win us another cup and leave no one at his mercy in the process

  10. bstrobel64

I knew and hate that I was gonna be so torn on this game. Stoked for team USA though!

  11. They’d better actually use their anger for good instead of going on a late season slump.

  12. Environmental-Ball24

If only they had went Wedgewood instead of Binnington

  13. blondespikes22

Me too… esp because turned it over on the gwg

  14. Dorkenstein666

Miss a wide open net in the third and then crap your pants on the OT. Brutal.

  15. If I were other NHL teams, I’ld shudder having to play against Nate.

  16. The video of him getting the stuffy is pure mackinnon wtf rage

  17. The best hockey I have ever seen over this short of a period. The NHL games will seem lame until the playoffs.

  18. speaker4the-dead

    Cale scores canadas only goal

Tazer is denied right in the door step with an absolutely ridiculous save

Nate uncharacteristically misses a wide open net wide left

Our boys playing a HUGE part of the games biggest moments on the biggest stage.

While this tournament overall wasn’t bad hockey, NHL refs with NHL reffing standards and NHL refs game management has no place in an Olympic tournament of best on best.

In the Olympics penalties are supposed to be penalties regardless of the score, player, period of the game or time left in the 3rd period. Everything that is wrong with the NHL refereeing standards has no business deciding the outcome of any of these best on best games in the OIympics.

Imagine how much more any team playing in the Olympics could capitalize without all of the NHL playoffs clutch n grabs, hooks, cross checks in the back, hacks and slashes and too many men all not being called. None of that has any business being apart of IIHF hockey.

Do I want NHL players in the Olympics, yes of course.
Do I want NHL Refs in the Olympics, Fuck no that goes entirely against the spirit of the Olympic games.

IIHF hockey was the last place that hockey still had integrity, honor and accountability but that is clearly gone now.

Congratulations to Broccoli and the rest of team USA, I believe that Canada can still keep their heads high though there is nothing wrong with a silver medal in the Olympics.

  20. landlion-35

Silver is almost worse than Bronze because you lose your last game to get it. Bronze you at least win your last game.

  21. ApprehensiveMix2292

They all came out healthy. That’s the real win

  22. Unlikely-Zone21

Best of both worlds for US Avs fans. USA gets gold and the Avs get pissed off Mack and Cale lol.

  23. Hell of a game, Canada had it on paper but shenanigans happen in 3x3s (which I’m not really a fan of but w/e). Hopefully he funnels that rage into the second half. Nice that our goalies are rested too.

  24. Best_Ad_7503

I’m very happy for Brock and his family legacy, but if there is one thing I despise about hockey, it’s still three on three overtime hockey. I wish they just did sudden death regular five on five strength hockey. But I mean it is what it is. Thank God that’s what we get in the NHL playoffs and not this three on three crap

  25. billiken66

MacKinnon’s, Makar’s, and Toews’ medal will match The Stanley Cup very well!!

  26. They didn’t score 3 on 5…they had their chances 🇺🇸 Go Avs!

  27. Vast-Salt9399

Time for the likes of Gabriel D’Aigle & Samuel Meloche to fix the REAL problem with Team Canada…

  28. DominionMM1

This picture truly illustrates why hockey is the cruelest of sports.

  29. You think this will motivate them to learn how to play 3 on 3 OT?

  30. BHunter22

I’m Canadian and wanted a win but would take an Avalanche Cup every damn time over a gold medal
