This is very sad news. All he wanted to do since he was a kid was to play football in the NFL. With the injuries piling up and the opportunities running out he probably felt lost. RIP Rondale Moore

I did some Youtube research. Sports suicides in this century are WAY more common than people think. Olympic champions like Michael Phelps have had suicidal issues. Katie Meyer, soccer player for Stanford, ended her own life. Competitive sports are pressure filled, and some people seem to value themselves by how successful they are. It is totally wrong, but minds can't handle the drive to "be the best". It could be a red flag for families when some kid sees failure as an offramp for existence. A bit shocking to me who never excelled anywhere. But I guess strivers are in danger.

This is the 2nd time The Vikings have lost a young man. I know this might be an unfair take but The Wilf’s being absentee owners means they don’t know what’s going on in that building. Someone had to or should have known he was in trouble. Back when Khyree passed you mean to tell me no one knew he may have had issues with alcohol? I had a young man as a renter living below and I noticed he was having difficulties with alcohol. I sat down with him as often as I could and supported him and he’s making a comeback and I said this to say if you see any sign of trouble you need take a young man aside to talk with him see what’s up and if you gotta walk him through it then do so because it’s better than the alternative of what we’ve seen twice damn 😢. I saw the Shannon Sharpe show this morning and he talked about Rondale Moore. He was so broken up about it and I felt the same way. We gotta be there for peeps when they’re hurtin. Wilf’s I don’t care how you manage it but can you buy a nice house here and if need be you can rotate out each year if you don’t want to live here permanently cause these young guys need that supervision when they’re young. You see how the situation turned out here as far as the season went how messed up it got but this is a culmination of a dysfunctional situation. I know it’s not what you wanna hear but the team really needs one of you here to give a shit. 2 in two years and as a fan this one hit me really hard this morning. Bless Shannon Sharpe and Ocho Cinco for bringing this up.

Wow what a sad thing to happen to anyone and their family. Maybe there just needs to be more help every year for players maybe a must have just to see and get a feel of the state of mind on how they are feeling. Maybe they could stop some of this sadness. Hopefully this is a reminder to you at purple Daily that these players are human and we don't know what they are going through mentally so be careful when you're constantly putting these young men down (example : The everyday McCarthy replacement talk) I get it it's a football show and criticism is a part of that but these young men especially in their early 20s aren't always emotionally strong enough to deal with nationwide criticism all day every day and may feel like this route is best since no one wants them around anyway.

I wonder if he had a set back while rehabbing or realized that his NFL career was over and he didnt know how to deal with this news. Its sad that this is happening more and more, or at least its in the news more. Men usually have more trouble talking about feelings because men are not supposed to, I know that the sterotype is changing, but it is still mostly viewed as being weak.
Hopefully friends and family can get the help they need to get through this difficult time.

Sad to see this happening. Remember all NFL Football players are entertainers playing a dirty game, a gladiator sport! Eliminate the injuries you eliminate the the physical and mental toll on players which leads to these types of tragedies. This is just the extreme case but there are other problems happening all the way down to JHS level. Everything is just more violent at the NFL level!
