    US had 100% on Penalty kill the whole tournament. Canada not scoring on that 5 on 3 PP was a huge issue. Congrats to the US, Hellybuck was unreal. As a Canadian you win some, you loose some, overall a really entertaining tournament, I am ready to move on and get back to watching the NHL.

    American here. Long time listener to top shelf hockey.
    This is my message to both Canadians & Americans after the game.
    Both countries have a lot to be proud of. This game came down to 1 goal in OT. It doesn't get closer than that. Hockey has factors beyond skill, coaching, leadership, & heart. There's intangibles. Luck, physics, split second decisions, on ice vision etc.
    To Americans: we celebrate our victory, we do not gloat. Our team was humble, classy, & represented good sportsmanship along with representing our nation. Follow their example. We don't kick our opponent when they are down. We shake hands & remember we both get another chance in 4 years. There's a right way to take winning or losing. It's just as bad to be a poor winner as it is a sore loser. Enjoy the thrill of victory, not the pain of your opponent.
    To Canadians: Your team of world class athletes is itself a testament to your dominance in the sport your country created. You walked away with a medal, more than several other teams took home. Some didn't even qualify to get to play. It's not a competition if you're automatic to win vs other teams. Part of the glory of winning is that it's a really hard team game. It can bring out the best & worst in us. As fans or players. Don't be too upset. It's a game. Win or lose, it's the game we love & the stings of losing only make the times you win that much better.
    Congratulations to both teams taking home medals today. The win is ultimately getting to enjoy our favorite sport played on the world stage. And time shared with family & friends. Those things are more important than our teams winning or losing.

    Jon Coopers interview was such traditional Canadian complaining. If he won he wouldn’t complain. But since he lost he compares it to the Stanley Cup. Not saying he’s wrong but still try to show more credit!

    On Florida as sellers:
    I think maybe a soft seller. Not a retool type sell off. Because they have the current 2 time cup winning team. But that's a lot of hockey so a come down year was likely. They had major players out with injury most of the season. Bobrovsky had a down year too. So if they sell, it's to open a roster spot for younger upcoming talent or maybe cap relief for off season additions in Free agency.

    Hello there love your channel almost listened to it daily. I have a few things that I’m just curious about. I was watching the Canada US game today and I know there were some talk around the defenseman’s name on cat is called Puerto Rico. He plays for the blues and I know at one point last year, I think last season the leafs were interested what kind of package do you think? We’d have to give the blues to get him and the other thing if Riley Riley will wave with New Jersey do a Morgan Riley for Dougie Hamilton, straight up and losing to the US hit hard but I remembered when we lost big time the very first time back in 98 we came came back four years later and wanted it. It’s only a matter of time before we get the gold medal back anyway so thanks for all the great hockey knowledge and videos.
