  1. McDavid is still young, he'll get better with time. He just needs more experience like Crosby. Don't fret boys, we'll get em next time around.

  2. If it were not for Connor Hellebucyk, Canada would have won. No shame in losing. Canada has won 9 Olympic gold medals in men’s hockey. This is the 3rd gold medal for the U.S.

  3. It wasn't McDavid's fault half the team missed wide open nets and the other half of the team was plugs who shouldn't have been there. McDavid is far from the reason they lost.

  4. Is McDavid as good as Sidney Crosby ? Two Olympic Gold Medals and three Stanley Cups says no. Along with a bunch of junior championships and other world events…

  5. There is no need, nor should their be a tournament MVP at the Olympics. The Olympics are about the crest on the front of the jersey, not the name of the back. But I agree, McDavid is very much starting to gain the reputation as a player/leader that can't cross the finish line when it matters most. Sorry, but Crosby's legacy won't come closed to being matched by McDavid.

  6. So what you are saying is McDavid is great at accumulating individual awards in a team game, but not leading his team to the ultimate prize? Gotcha. So he's a TEMU Sidney Crosby then.

  7. Sour grapes by sore losers about McDavid. But you would have him on your team in a heartbeat, if you could get him.

  8. I think it's time to pass the torch of the best player in Canada. McDavid has proven he doesn't have that special "it" factor or winning drive that the greatest of all the greats are known for. Sorry, but McDavid's reign is up, and he failed. I now think Celebrini will be the best player to watch.

  9. I wish you wouldn’t have hogged the puck during the overtime. He should’ve waited until his teammates came. He washed it and messed up. McKinnon fumbled, and it was over. McDavid was a total hog.

  10. Very good point made in one of those tweets. McDavid just seems to lack the finishing, win at all costs, instinct. For some reason, he's one of those players that grips the stick tighter, and changes his game when it's all on the line, and not in beneficial way. His career is already destined to be second fiddle to a real winner like Sidney Crosby.

  11. I was worried this would happen. The U.S. was planning to play a Panthers-style game. McDavid always got shut down whenever the Panthers played their “A” game. You can blame the Oilers’ losses on the team not being good enough, but even when playing alongside the best Canadian players, he still got shut down.

  12. LMAO! Another hot goalie and Canadian snipers couldn't score. Lunch bucket style with deflection or rebound wins you games like this.

  13. Pretty much McDavid has cemented himself as being in Crosby's shadows now. In 20-30 years, when people look back on this era of hockey, it will be Crosby that is remembered most fondly, and foremost. McDavid will be "oh yeah, I remember him" kind of player that is occasionally brought into a discussion.

  14. Wow morons, being a little dramatic. he’s not even close to the most prolific loser of all time. The buffalo bills lost FOUR super bowls in a row!! Take your pick , Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce smith . They’re way bigger losers

  15. When Canada wins it's skill but when someone else beats them you Canadians call it stolen. The game was not stolen. Canada's top 3 players got beat in OT from the skill and team play of the Americans. Team USA won on skill and our goalie did his job. It was earned.

  16. Sometimes the puck juts bounces your way. Conner scored to win the 4 Nations and you all get sore when it doesn’t go your way? Cmon

  17. The Canadian mcflopper. He's not the best player in the world. The best player in the world didn't get to play in the tournament. Ovi

  18. Mcjesus can’t seem to get it done. Canadas only hope going forward is Mackholyspirit(Celebrini).
