But I’ve heard a lot of stories that hockey players are generally the most racist and bigoted athletes compared to any other sport.
I know a radiologist that would never be alone in the xray room with a hockey player. She’d learned that there has to be another person there too (not another hockey player, but a nurse or another healthcare worker.)
Highly anecdotal, I know. But it might be worth lowering expectations when talking about hockey players.
